I know what you mean, there is something about the pointed features of the nose and the long ear that helps make this look more elfish...I know I keep saying this, but I can't get over how much I like the way you render noses and mouths, I just love the way they look here. I do agree with DrippingFlames that it might be stretched a little too long—if I were working with this in a draw program, I would maybe do a little bit of experimenting with condensing it a little (on photoshop, you can use the transform tool to change the size and squish things in or stretch them out without much difficulty), or possibly cutting off the nose and mouth and simply moving them in a little closer to the eye, just to see if that looks more natural. (Of course you'd probably have to redo the linework overtop it then, otherwise it will have that cutout look, but I find moving things around to see how they look easier and less time consuming than erasing and trying to redraw to see how things look moved. Sometimes I think I've become too spoiled with draw programs. XD!) But anyway, overall I do like that bit of stretched-ness about this drawing, I think you really achieved what you were going for in the exaggerated pointedness of Holly's profile giving her a more fairy-elf like look about her. Maybe there's a happy medium somewhere?
